MGT 340: Final Research Project

This project was the final for my Human Resources Management class: (MGT 340) Human Resources Administration. The project was to research a topic not covered thoroughly in class that interested us. This class represented the real deal to my career interests and even while I am writing this narrative, I am still certain that HR is what I want to do. While there are many areas that interest me in an academic sense, and I am sure that these other focuses will help contribute to my career focus, HR is my focus and has been the focal point of coming back to finish a degree.
This is one of the first classes that I felt fully engaged and ready to complete every assignment with my best effort. In the past, classes felt like a chore or something that had to be done, but the feedback and the subject matter stimulated my interest in a way no other subject had. I felt like I finally belonged and had found my true passion. Fringe Benefits which are described in the project are benefits that a job offers other than financial compensation, and I think it is a very interesting topic to cover, especially as they have become more common in the present day.
